Here's what owners and managing agents of PBCA Section 8 need to know about recent HUD funding issues:
Make sure you are tracking the status of your monthly voucher in TRACS.
If there is a funding-related error, your voucher may not get paid.
If you rely on HAP funds to pay your mortgage and your voucher is delayed for a funding issue, please reach out to Hope Lanphear at hlanphear@rihousing.com ASAP.
You may be able to borrow from your RIHousing-held reserves account until HUD-funding is supplied.
Reminders:
Are you and/or your property management team struggling with understanding Procorem and what your responsibilities and compliance requirements are? Are you bombarded with emails from Procorem and don’t know what to do about them? If so, please reach out to Lenore Coughlin at lcoughlin@rihousing.com o
r your Asset Manager to arrange for a private, tailor-made training just for you and your team at your agency. Many have taken advantage of this and have gone on to be successful and in compliance. This training is free, so please reach out to Lenore as soon as possible!
